Controlling the BC246T

I use and recommend FreeScan. It's free, fully featured, and the author is very active with updates and improvements.
Other folks use freeware BCtool but I find it more annoying than helpful.

Controlling the BC-245xlt

245int is what I use most of the time. It is getting harder to find; here's a torrent.
There is also a tutorial online for 245int.
Winscan 2.x from Pozilla.
Seems to be ridden with bugs. I tried the demo but couldn't get alphas to display. Seems they took that functionality out on purpose.
The old 1.x version of this app was much better in demo - stable, straightforward. Anybody know where to find this online?
